Art meets Art
What happens when dancers meet a painting? Or musicians meet sculptures? Or spoken word artists take over the museum space? We tried it out: in our video series "Art Meets Art".
Two artists from Stuttgart each have embarked on a rendezvous with works of art in our collection. We accompanied the duos with our camera and documented their encounters. The result is a series of short films that offer unconventional, improvised and novel approaches to our works. Because: artists see differently. And through their own art, they have other ways of talking about and reflecting on art. Last but not least, the performative approach brings images and sculptures to life in a very individual way.
