Looking for literature on art?
In the library of the Staatsgalerie, more than 130,000 media provide exciting insights into all art genres and epochs, from the Middle Ages to the present. In addition to numerous monographs, encyclopaedias and around 100 serial journals, the collection also includes catalogues raisonnés of individual artists, inventory and auction catalogues as well as national and international exhibition catalogues. Since 1993, the Stauffer Archive with 593 publications on the life and work of Marcel Duchamp has also been part of the library.
