Even King Wilhelm I regularly donated a new work of art to our museum on the occasion of his birthday in the 19th century.
Today, it is the commitment of citizens, public and private foundations, companies and the "Friends of the Staatsgalerie e.V." that accompanies our work with dedication. Many things would not be possible if we did not have such wonderful partners at our side. Donations for which we cannot say thank you often enough.

Freunde der Staatsgalerie
Founded in 1906, the " Freunde der Staatsgalerie" (Friends of the State Gallery) is one of the oldest and to this day also the largest friends' association in Germany. Become a member of the association or the Förderkreis now and take advantage of the many exclusive benefits, such as free admission to our museum.
