In 2025, the Staatsgalerie Stuttgart is presenting the impressive work of Katharina Grosse as a Great State Exhibition. Born in Freiburg im Breisgau in 1961, the painter is internationally renowned for her unique, expansive color installations, in which she transcends traditional genre boundaries and transforms entire rooms, objects and landscapes into colorful works of art. The exhibition shows a previously unknown aspect of her work.
