The archival holdings of the Staatsgalerie include extensive inventories on the Stuttgart artists Oskar Schlemmer and Adolf Hölzel as well as the estate of the art historian Will Grohmann.
The Sohm Archive – the world’s largest collection of intermedia art forms such as Fluxus, Happening, Beat and Underground, Viennese Actionism and Concrete Poetry – is also accessible for research purposes.
Research work can be carried out in our facilities by previous arrangement.
